By browsing the website www.belledeplage.com, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of use, as well as by the applicable laws in Quebec and Canada. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services or make purchases on this site.

Belle de Plage reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, prices, products, and policies at any time, in whole or in part, without prior notice. We encourage you to review this page regularly.

 

2. External Links

The website www.belledeplage.com may contain links redirecting to third-party platforms, such as Square, where our gift cards are hosted.

Belle de Plage has no control over these third-party sites and cannot be held responsible for their content, privacy policies, or any transactions carried out on them.

We recommend that you carefully read the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies of any third-party platform before making a purchase.

 

3. Product Use and Intellectual Property

You agree not to use Belle de Plage products for:

  • Unauthorized resale, reproduction, or distribution;

  • Any activity violating intellectual property laws or any other law in effect in Quebec and Canada.

All content published under the Belle de Plage brand, including texts, images, videos, name, and logo, is the exclusive property of Belle de Plage and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction or use is strictly prohibited.

 

4. Right to Refuse Service

Belle de Plage reserves the right to refuse service or an order at any time and for any valid reason, including but not limited to:

  • Suspected or confirmed fraud;

  • Abuse of the site or services;

  • Violation of these terms and conditions.

  • Inability to ensure a client’s safety in the atelier, particularly due to reduced mobility or any other condition that makes access difficult.*

*In such cases, an alternative solution may be offered, such as a remote consultation via videoconference, depending on availability and the nature of the requested service.

 

5. Orders, Payment, and Shipping

Products are made to order. Please refer to our Returns & Shipping Policy for more details.

Before finalizing your order, you agree to:

  • Applicable shipping fees and taxes;

  • The total amount charged;

  • The production and shipping timelines.

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation.

 

5.1 Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to begin the production of your order.

  • The remaining 50% is payable upon delivery.

  • No swimsuit will be delivered without full payment.

 

5.2 Product Accuracy and Colors

We strive to present our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the colors and textures displayed on-screen will match the actual product, due to differences in display settings across devices.

6. Protection of Personal Information

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date personal information for any purchase transaction.

  • Your information will remain secure and confidential.

  • Belle de Plage does not share or sell your data to third parties.

  • However, we reserve the right to share this information with authorities in the case of a fraud prevention investigation.

7. Reservations, Payments, and Appointment Cancellations

The client acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Booking a consultation appointment entails a payment obligation;

  • Failure to make the payment before the agreed date will result in automatic appointment cancellation;

  • Failure to pay the invoice before the swimsuit production begins will result in order cancellation.

 

7.1 Appointment Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a consultation appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellation with 24 hours or more notice: No penalty.

  • Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice or failure to attend: Belle de Plage reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the consultation cost.

This policy ensures respect for our time and that of our other clients.

 

8. User Comments and Contributions

You agree that your comments and contributions:

  • Do not violate any legal rights (defamation, copyright, privacy, etc.);

  • Do not contain any abusive, obscene, or inappropriate content;

  • Do not contain any viruses or harmful programs that could affect the www.belledeplage.com website.

We reserve the right to delete any content deemed inappropriate.

 

9. Accuracy of Provided Information

You must not use a false email address or provide inaccurate information to impersonate someone else. You are fully responsible for the accuracy of the information provided while browsing and purchasing from Belle de Plage.

 

10. Legal Provisions and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in effect in Quebec, Canada. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts will be those of the province of Quebec.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

11. Safety During Visits to the Atelier

The Belle de Plage atelier is a safe, well-organized, and maintained workspace designed to provide a pleasant experience for every client. Access is via an indoor staircase equipped with a commercial-grade carpet, proper lighting, and a handrail to ensure safe movement.

While all necessary precautions are taken to minimize risks, by booking an appointment and visiting the atelier, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the necessary precautions and agree to release Belle de Plage from any liability in case of a fall, accident, or material damage occurring during your visit.

If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact me in advance to determine the best possible solution. If I determine that your safety cannot be adequately ensured in the space, I reserve the right to deny access to the atelier. In such cases, a remote consultation via videoconference may be offered, depending on the nature of the requested service.
